Elegantly dressed in white for the Laureus Awards Gala in Madrid, Paula Badosa and Stefanos Tsitsipas stumbled slightly in their answers when asked about their wedding date and location.
„White is a Greek color, it evokes a Greek atmosphere,” began Badosa, and Tsitsipas, without much forethought, continued: „White, Greek color, Greek wedding,” before locking eyes with the Spanish player.

Badosa was visibly surprised and blushed, replying: „Perhaps this is a sign,” she commented.
„Do you want to share the big news?”, asked the ATP reporter, as both burst into nervous laughter, while Badosa attempted to cover the camera lens with her hand.

„One never knows,” Tsitsipas repeated twice.
When questioned about the wedding location, Tsitsipas explained he was still figuring out the correct response, while Badosa stated that „Greece has already captured her heart.„

Tsitsipas and Badosa, together for two years
Stefanos Tsitsipas and Paula Badosa have been in a relationship since May 2023. They met during a tournament in Rome.
However, in May 2024, the couple, nicknamed „Tsitsidosa” on social media, experienced a temporary separation.
During this time, the Greek tennis player realized he wanted the Spanish player back. „At that time, I concluded that Paula is the person who’s supported me the most, and when she spoke to me about a possible reunion, I remembered how intense the love we share is. I realized that the relationship with Paula is different from any other relationship I’ve had before,” stated Tsitsipas.
Paula Badosa currently holds the 9th position in the WTA rankings, while Stefanos Tsitsipas is ranked 18th in the ATP.
